My Story — Why I Started TradeSmart SG
Like many Singapore traders, I started my trading journey in 2019 full of excitement and big dreams. I did what most beginners do — I turned to YouTube, watched countless videos, tested strategy after strategy, and experimented with indicator after indicator trying to find that winning formula.

But the market had other plans.

For 3 long years I struggled as a day trader. Glued to my screen, watching every candle, second guessing every move — and still losing money consistently. It was exhausting, demoralising, and honestly took a real toll on my time, my health, and my family life.

Then in 2022 everything changed.

I made the decision to invest $3,000 into a professional trading course — and it was the best financial decision I ever made. Not because of the money I spent, but because of what I discovered on the other side of it. I shifted completely from day trading to swing trading, and almost immediately the results started to speak for themselves.
